The box is supported by two carved rosewood Lyers,
a harp and turned finals all joined with additional carvings and screwed to the box.
John does noy usually keep a record of how much time he spends on a project
but he estimates that the project took 3,000 hours over a period of 3 years.
This included the time from design, making the music twice due to a gluing nightmare, to the finishing.
